What families say about Family Active

It’s such a lovely group and always ready to welcome any newbies.

I attend the walks at Otterspool. I really enjoy attending. It’s such a lovely group and always ready to welcome any newbies. There’s always time to mix on the walk or after in the cafe.

It’s a great opportunity to meet other mums, get advice, general chats and maybe meet up outside of the walks.

Gemma leads our group and she’s fab, so welcoming and will introduce you to people so you feel part of the group.

She’s always a great support if you need someone just to listen or if your baby decides they do not want to be in their pram she will offer to push it for you while you carry your baby (who normally just wants a hug and to be nosey). Rain, wind or sun Gemma will be waiting.

I have never felt fitter or stronger

Since having my second child, I’ve had Rob as a personal trainer once a week for 9 months.

I really wanted to get my body back after both my kids and knew Rob would understand how to do this in the safest way possible without me injuring myself – as well as understanding what having a busy family life was like!

I have never felt fitter or stronger and it is all thanks to Rob for taking the time to help me set and achieve realistic goals. I have lost my baby weight, can fit back onto my favourite clothes and can actually do push up sets on my toes for the first time ever.

It’s a really supportive environment, I would have been lost without it

Mums social had been invaluable to me. Being a mum can be lonely and challenging at the best of times. The walk and talk meetups have been great for me to meet other mums.

It’s a really supportive environment, I would have been lost without it.
